1. Parties

These Terms and Conditions are between:

  • The Prestige Cleaning People Pty Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”), and

  • Any person or entity accessing our website or engaging our services (“you”, “your”).

By using our website or engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other notices published on our website.


2. Intellectual Property

2.1 All content, logos, trade marks, text, images, graphics, and materials on our website (“Content”) are owned or licensed by us unless expressly stated.

2.2 You may access and print Content for personal, non-commercial use only.

2.3 You must not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Content without our prior written consent, except as permitted under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).


3. Website Availability

3.1 We use reasonable endeavours to ensure the accuracy and availability of our website but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

3.2 We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict access at any time without notice.

5. Trading Terms – Services, Cancellations, and Payment

5.1 Services – We will supply cleaning services as described in quotes, proposals, or booking confirmations. Services are limited to the inclusions set out in the agreed scope unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5.2 Quotes and Pricing – Quotes are prepared based on the information you provide. If property conditions, access, or requirements differ materially, we may revise the price. Quotes remain valid for thirty (30) days unless otherwise stated.

5.3 Cancellations and Access

(a) Cancellations made within forty-eight (48) hours of the scheduled service will be charged the full quoted amount.

(b) If our team attends but cannot access or commence work, you will be charged the full quoted amount.

(c) Rescheduling is subject to availability.

5.4 Payment

(a) Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due seventy-two (72) hours prior to the commencement of the scheduled service. If payment is not received, we reserve the right not to attend and the booking will be deemed unconfirmed.

(b) Alternative payment arrangements must be agreed in writing prior to the scheduled service.

(c) If payment is not received by the required timeframe or as otherwise agreed, we may:

  • cancel or suspend the scheduled service;

  • apply late fees or interest at 2% per month; and/or

  • recover the debt through a collection agency, with you liable for all reasonable recovery costs.


6. Client Obligations

6.1 You must provide safe and reasonable access to the property, including running water and electricity.

6.2 You must notify us of any health and safety risks, hazards, or site-specific requirements.

6.3 You must not directly solicit, engage, or employ our staff or contractors for private work.


7. Health and Safety

7.1 We comply with relevant Work Health and Safety legislation in Queensland and New South Wales.

7.2 If conditions are unsafe, we may suspend or refuse to perform services without liability.


8. Insurance and Liability

8.1 We hold Public Liability Insurance and Workers’ Compensation/WorkCover in QLD and NSW.

8.2 We are not liable for pre-existing damage, construction defects, poor workmanship, or unsafe site conditions.

8.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to:

(a) re-supplying the services; or

(b) paying the cost of re-supplying the services.

8.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).


9. Privacy

9.1 We collect, use, and disclose personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

9.2 By using our website or engaging our services, you consent to the handling of your personal information as set out in that Policy.


10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland and New South Wales, Australia. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of those states.
